On the 23 June 2012, he brought his "crazy and agressive" style in the ONE FC cage, facing Brian "The Polar Bear" Choi, and put on a show. Lepont pushed the pace to make a fantastic brawl, and was the first to finish Choi via RNC in the third. After this fight Suyan Queiroz, 4th degree Blackbelt, reconized him as a purple belt.

Full of confidence with a 9-1 record, he called out his idol, Shinya Aoki. Aoki vs Lepont was the ONE FC 6 main event. During the weighins and the fighters presentation, Lepont read a book called "How to beat Aoki for the dummies" Unfortunately, it took 1.25 for the submission magician Aoki to put Lepont to sleep in a Triangle-Armbar combinaison.
