Cory Douglas Berkley is a United States Army Veteran who trained with the Marine Corps Boxing Team in Southern California. In 1998, Cory moved to Tampa and was the sparring partner for Intercontinental Champion Bernice 'The Heat' Barber. He won the Silver Medal in the Florida State Boxing Championships with nickname 'Caveman'. In 1999, Cory joined MMA Hall Of Fame Coach Chris Hickman's "Team Tiger Shootfighting." He fought at the "Rumble At The Rodeo" on one of the first MMA type cards in Ocala, FL. He knocked out Charles 'Felony' Bennett at the "Rumble In The Alley" Cagefight Championship in 2002. Two weeks later, Cory won a decision at the "Toughman Championships" in Ft. Myers, FL. Cory trained with late UFC Fighter Ron 'Ronzilla' Faircloth in Stoughton, WI. He took seminars from WEC World Champ Mike Brown and Shootfighting World Champ Erik Paulson. His pics were in MMA Authority Magazine. In 2013, with new nickname 'Supermario', he competed in a Gracie BJJ Tournament in Brentwood, TN. Cory had two submission victories (slam, kimura) but lost by triangle choke to NAGA Champion Jimmie Lowrie. In 2016, he fought in Fearless MMA's "King Of The Cage" Tournament in Janesville, WI. In 2021, with new nickname 'Spiritual Warrior', Cory boxed Clemen Clay, Midwest Heavyweight Champion at the Golden Gloves in Madison, WI. In 2022, on his 50th Birthday, Judge Morse officially changed his name to Spiritual Warrior. Spiritual Warrior continues to pray, train, search for bouts, coach students, give presents to kids, and spread love as far as he can!
