Why is Whittaker suddenly considered having elite TDD? He has not fought a really good wrestler since Romero. I'm not that impressed by his 29-28 over Costa either. I like the guy but he hasn't had a ranked win in 5 years. And Chimaev having bad cardio is really overrated, he threw the most strikes in round 3 against Burns. As long as he doesn't break his wrist again, he should be able to go 5 rounds at MW but probably ends the fight a lot sooner.

Lots of downvotes but no one explaining why Whittaker stopping most of Gastelum's takedowns means he can do the same for Chimaev.

Usman and Whittaker's TDD isn't even comparable. Khamzat will run through Rob easily, round 1 D'Arce choke for the Wolf 🐺

There's a reason Khamzat is the favorite. Getting almost D' arced by DDP isnt a good look, especially with someone with sophisticated wrestling like Khamzat. I like and respect Robert but I just don't think he survives this one. There's always having decent TDD, but the last notable wrestler Robert faced was Romero, who himself isn't that much of a wrestler anyways. I really respect Robert for taking this matchup though but sadly it's gonna backfire. Khamzat first round 1 sub.

They only resigned ihor after the Bryzcek fight so they can sacrifice him to the actual talent. Kinda crazy when you think about it; he is nothing more but disposable cannon fodder for the ufc
